New 14m span, 10 degree skew highway bridge constructed as part of an enabling works package for a new retail store.
Bridge was designed using precast, prestressed concrete inverted 'T' beams with structural concrete topping. The beams were integral with the full height concrete cantilever abutments giving no movement joints between the deck and abutments. This eliminated maintenance concerns over joints and bridge bearings.
Adjacent wing walls were designed as cantilevered concrete retaining walls.
Main Contractor was Raynesway Construction.
